being a strong business and life-building dude is one thing.

Being surrounded by them and growing with them is another.

They say if you're the smartest or strongest one in the room, you should find another room.

Being in a group of powerful men who intimidate you just a little and who make you wonder if you belong will inspire you to really BRING IT to your life and work.

What you get-

  1.  Up to 1.5 - hour video group call with other business owners on weeks 1 and 3 of the month. Wed 2:30-4 or Thurs 8:30-10am  -two options.
  2. Week 2 of the month there is a 1 hour Camp Wide call - feature business builders and get to know people in other groups.

  10. Weekly email directing them to resources of interest and special training announcements and book discussion items etc.
  11. Kajabi training modules and worksheets developed by Wayne for Sales, Leadership, etc.

do any of these describe you?

1.) You feel like you "should" be content, but you just have a relentless desire to keep building?

2.) You want to grow your business but doing more of what got you here isn't working?

3.) You spent time "on the field" growing your business but now you feel a bit out of place at home?

4.) You want to level up and grow but you're not sure you have what it takes or know how to do it?

5.) You feel guilty because you know your real work could be done in 2 hours?

You end up filling your day with busy work and sometimes getting in the way of your team.  Sometimes you don't feel needed anymore...

6.) You want to play full out in life, be settled at home and be present for your wife and kids?

7.) You feel alone and maybe a bit "sick" because you can't turn it off and can't just be happy?

8.) You know you need to find your edge again and that you need to be challenged?

9.) You want to be pushed by others who are ahead of you and yet that scares the crap out of you?

10.) You wonder what the tools and secrets are for playing bigger in life and business?

...but you hate to ask and don't want to look weak...and don't even know who to ask.

You may be scrolling and wondering how much it costs?

The investment to join camp is $750/month.

(During COVID restrictions the fee is $500/month until our live meetups can happen again).

"The paradox of success is that everything you have done to get to your current level of success is holding you back from your next level of success." - Rich Litvin

frustrations and fears of business and life building men

Here are things that I hear regularly from my high performing clients...

"I can get all of my work done in 2 hours these days but I feel the need to stay in the office and do busywork anyway.  Sometimes I think it frustrates everyone else.  I know it frustrates me.  There are so many things I say I want to do like travel, and be with my kids or hunt.... but I don't do it."

"Man, I'm just feeling down and tired today.  I need to get back at it but I'm exhausted.  My wife says I should just take the day off and be with her... but I don't really know how to do that.  And, I'll feel guilty."

"I'm getting out of balance again with my work.  I feel like this keeps happening to me.  Just when things get going right and I start getting time for life... things come up at work that throw me back into grinding.  I wonder if it's me.  Am I causing this?"

"I need to pass on my high level skills and get out of the way.  But... they make me angry.  They just don't do things like me.  I keep trying to hire high level performers but I can't seem to teach them what I do.  Maybe my business is different and I just can't be replaced."

"I see these guys on the internet who seem to have it all figured out.  They have grown larger businesses than mine and yet they seem to get time to do fun and epic trips AND they are building new businesses or starting non-profits.  How do they do all that?  Are they really that happy or is it a sham?"

"I just can't figure out what's next."

"I'm at the top of my game in my field, in my town, and in my group of high school buddies.  I know I should push and find others to challenge me, but that scares me down deep somewhere if I'm honest.  UGH... I know I'm not playing up to my full potential even though others around me don't know it."

"My wife says she's happy and she just wants me to be happy.  So why do I constantly feel restless and not satisfied?"

image706

Do any of those sound like you?

image707

If you hear yourself in these statements.... you're not alone.  The guys in our group and my 1:1 high performing clients regularly say and think things like this.

It might scare you - but you'd be right at home in our camp.  And... to get started, I'm the coach to listen to you deeply and really hear you.  I'm safe with thoughts like this.  You're not an ego maniac.  You're not just a jerk who isn't grateful to God and the universe.

You're a High Performer.

You were made to build and grow and lead others.

You were built to gather up a company of strong employees to make the world and your community a better place.

You need to find ways to rest and you need to find ways to live a big life.  What got you here won't get you there.  You need to learn new skills to be an even higher performer.  You need to learn to harness your brain and your creativity.

If you want to be your best you need to be challenged and you need to be surrounded by others like you.

Until you find the way to express yourself FULLY, you are going to continue to be discontent around your home and you aren't going to BE the best dad and husband you can be either.

There is more in store for you.  Don't try to keep stuffing your gifts and your drive.  Let those horses out of the barn man!

Get Started

being a high performing business builder can be lonely.

You may feel like the odd man out even with others in your industry. So many seem content.

Many of the other business owners in your industry or community will even seem negative a lot of the time.  It is so common to go to an industry trade meeting and get involved with circles of negativity and complaining.  Many times those in the same industry all have the same problems and they don't know the way out.  It is easy to want to fit in and join in. Business owners often wear the fact that they are SO BUSY as a type of badge of honor.  Many business owners talk about wishing they could relax and they talk about the day when they'll spend more time with family and be more balanced.

You must be ready for your next level.  You need to become ok with even more success.  You need an even bigger mission.  You need to set impossible goals and say out loud your visions that are so powerful that nothing will stop you.

You need a brotherhood of business building men who say it's ok to be more you!  You need them to keep your ego in check and to help you see that sometimes you are so high performing at being a dad, brother, husband, boss, etc.

We are Owners/CEOs/Presidents and we push each other to be and do more and we support each other in hard times.  We give each other tools and insights and new ways of thinking.  We do life together.  We become friends.  We call greatness out of each other.  We live the strenuous and rugged outdoor life.  We call each other out when we are being a narcissistic jackass or if we are playing too small.  We inspire each other.

the camp is a collection of winners from multiple industries.

We carefully cultivate the membership of our group.  Our members are screened for those who take action, those who are bold, those who are willing to play full out.  Our guys want to contribute to others and want to push others and be pushed.

Our members WILL be ahead of you in certain dimensions of life.  They may have bigger and more profitable businesses.  They may have more Youtube followers and be on bigger stages.  They may be better dads and have more intimacy with their wife than you.

You will be ahead of them in certain ways.  You will know things that we don't.  We want to learn from you and we want to show you the "secrets" that we have.

Find out more

i'm wayne herring - the founder of camp - the "outfitter" or "guide" for high performers

I founded this community for me as much as I did for you.

When I started this I had grown tired of playing small.  I was looking for a community of high performing men to push me and motivate me.  I wanted to be surrounded by guys who intimidated me a little.

It was important to have a men's group because I wanted to go deeper and wider than just business.  I want to live a high performance life in all areas, I don't just want to build a successful business.

I want to play full out and influence others to be their best.  I need other men to push me to play full out too.

I want to have deeper intimacy with my wife in many ways...yes including physical intimacy!  ...but also mental, spiritual, and life intimacy.  We want to create our best life together.

I want to be the best dad that I can be right now.

Being around other men who are dreaming big and then making it happen will make me better.  I want to serve my community and raise up individuals. Your example will sometimes make me do the right thing when I could have taken an easier softer way.

I'm a coach to high performing men who are building businesses and lives and I've made it my 25 year mission to get better and better at this.  I hire coaches, attend seminars, and read books dedicated to helping me to be a stronger coach and leader.  I need to continuously level up and go deeper inside me if I'm going to help you in a bigger way.

I grow by continuing to meet strong and fascinating men doing big stuff in the world.   I hang out with other high performance coaches so that I can improve my craft.

The thing I don't want you to know about me is that I often wake up feeling like I'm not enough and that you'll find me out.  I started on the journey of leading this camp in 2018 and then I wimped out.  I watched a video that my friend and high performer client Josh Ott produced and I thought... I'm not the bad ass he portrays me as in this video.

I let my upper limit challenges gain strength in my mind and being and I ran back to a safe place in my business where I could make "enough" money and where I could try to just be content.

I tried to put "Business Builder Camp" stickers on my truck to help me commit and be all in...but it didn't work.

But under the surface, discontent stirred.  There was a constant low hum telling me I could do more.  So, I invested in being coached by Rich Litvin.  He called out of me my passion to support men like you and to live a life of adventure and growth with you.  I got back on the path.

There are many things that are hard for me to share about me but I know they make me a powerful coach.    I was abandoned by my mom at 6 months of age.  (I have gotten to know her in the past 10+ years and I have listened and understand her story)  My dad was unavailable in many ways in my early years due to his drinking and drugging. (He is one of my greatest inspirations as he really turned his life around.)  I became an alcoholic and workaholic and was a poor husband and dad.  I had to take a gun out of my grandfather's hands when I was a teen because my grandparents fought relentlessly and in the middle of the night my grandmother woke me because he said he was going to kill himself.  (He gave me my work ethic and taught me so much and gave up his post children years to raise another one and I'm grateful).  I had a teen daughter who almost died partially because I didn't know how to communicate with my wife and get the help we needed. (She is doing very well now.)  I had to call up the CEO of the company who bought my father's company because I felt guilty over how I handled my exit from the company.  (It all worked out thanks to real and candid conversations.)

There are many things I have done that others see as powerful but they seem ordinary to me.  I feel like all along the way I have met mentors and guides at just the right time to show me the way and the next moves.   I was the first person from my family to go to college and I eventually graduated with a 4.0 and a master's degree from Virginia Tech after being invited to their most prestigious study program.  While at Tech I met my wife and convinced her to move to Colorado with me.  I cold called companies in Denver and 3 of them flew me out for interviews and I landed my dream job doing drilling and blasting and rockfall protection in the rocky mountains.  Within months I transferred from engineering to sales and project management and sold enough to earn a company diesel truck with a logo on the side! (boy was I proud of that.)

While in CO I became really great at my work and learned high ticket sales and how to work with people but I was a poor partner for Katherine and my drinking and over -working were in high gear.  We came home to PA and were married and I found a new mentor and work I enjoyed in engineering.  Quickly I developed my own clients and was promoted to department manager but I knew I didn't belong in design.  I went to work with my dad at the company he had started 12 years earlier.  We doubled the revenue of the company and more than doubled profits while we were together and implemented lots of systems for scale.  I learned about coaching and consultants  and how to grow a sales team and how to market a product.  We sold the company to a publicly traded firm and I had the chance to pitch the company to buyers on Wall Street.

I met my mentor, Warren Lewis, which was a huge thing in my life.  Along the way I got sober and started a path to spiritual growth.  My wife and I built a thriving organic meat farm and raised and sold chickens, pigs, beef, and salmon.   We built our home and coaching center on 20 acres.  This is the kind of place where I dreamed of living when I was a child.

I've worked hard to live a life of intention and the life I dream of.  This happens in fairly big ways and fairly small ways.  I've done 4 cross country trips of 2 weeks or more just exploring, living, and fishing.  I've wanted to live, work, and elk hunt in the Rockies so I made the phone calls necessary and I did it.  I wanted to get in shape and trail run so I did - last year I did a 31 mile ultra marathon on trail and up and down hills in less than 6.5 hours.  My son thought we should build a suspension bridge over the creek so we figured it out and did it.

I've been building since I was a kid.  My grandfather was an independent coal miner and he taught me how to just do it and improvise and make it happen.  He taught me to keep working hard.  He taught me with our weekend coal delivery service how to make money and how money can be created with vision and hard work and by asking.

My dad (who came back into my life after my early years) showed me, through his successes and failures in business, about the entrepreneur way.  My uncle as well owns a thriving material supply business/lumber yard and he also played a very important role of showing me the way.

Over the past 6 years I have built a thriving coaching business.  High performer coaching is something that is hard to explain and I don't even understand it.  We have powerful deep conversations about what you are building and what you dream of and what gets in the way... and then week by week and month by month you make progress.  You grow.  You make the vision a reality.  You deal with the nagging doubts in your head and act in spite of them.  You ask others for the help you need and answers and tools show up.

I've been helped by so many mentors and I've been shown so many "secrets" that I want to share that with you.

I feel uncomfortable saying these things but I've been told it's not bragging if it's true .... AND I know that you have stories like this too.

I've heard that if you want to go fast go alone but if you want to go far go together.

I want to go fast and I'll do that when we aren't together.... but I want you alongside me and others so we can keep going through the ups and downs and so we can both rest deeply on our porches or play and be present with our children but also build businesses that really make a impact and that we are proud of.

the logistics and what is included - how we help you grow

This program is both a small group Mastermind and a larger community program.

You will be in a group of up to 8 business builders who you meet with in between camps.  You are going to support each other, challenge each other, and learn from each other.  You will also be a member of the larger camp and will be able to work with them live and via internet.

Our process is designed to combine Mastermind with a process and cadence for taking stock in life and setting goals and having accountability.

Wayne and his team work FOR you.  If questions are coming up as a group we will look for answers and resources and books and speakers to address those needs.  We will schedule "extra" calls when interests arise that are best served with some additional help.  We will provide some training for your team for free and will be available to do training for an additional fee when requested.

Jan/May/September Live Rendezvous and 120 Day Process

We meet live for rendezvous 3 times a year and we do an audit/review of the prior 120 days.  We take stock and inventory and then prepare a plan for the next 3 months of focus and growth.  We live the principles of the book The 12 week Year in between these gatherings.  Rendezvous is what we call our gatherings because in the 1800s mountain men and traders and native Americans gathered to have fun, share stories, learn of new innovations, share ideas, etc.

You will receive a branded goatskin journal, 120 day Large Plan, Wheel of Life, and Frixion pens 3x per year as part of this process.

Monthly book club and discussion

We provide each member with a book each month (or sometimes every other month) in the format of their choice - Audible, hard copy, kindle.  We study these books together and use the books to grow.  We read books about mindset, high performance, adventure, sales, leadership, business systems, family and money.

Coaching/Challenge/Mastermind calls the 1st & 3rd week of the month. All Camp call on the 2nd week

Wayne will lead your small group in a 1.5 hour mastermind call the 1st and 3rd weeks of the month.  On the 2nd week of the month we will have a community wide group coaching/mastermind call where questions can be submitted prior to the call and we will also get to know individual group members better.    Mastermind calls are not recorded and are intended to be confidential.  In these calls we will discuss the book of the month, we will mastermind and solve problems, and we will call each other out to live the biggest life we can.

Kajabi Forum and Member Directory - Your Story

Kajabi is our online 24/7 coaching and communications portal.  We post wins and questions here.  We share tools that are helping us win.  We have a channel for business, fatherhood, being a husband/partner, and adventure.  We use Kajabi so that you don't have to be on Facebook if you don't want to be.  Digital Minimalism is a core concept we encourage you to follow to be your very best.

Member Directory and Your Story and Your Company Story

We believe that your Story is powerful and it helps to have other men speak your story back to you.  It helps to see how others see you.  I (Wayne) love to learn my business builder's story and the story of their company and then powerfully write that story for you.  As part of your onboarding process we will dig in and learn your story and write that into our directory.  This directory will allow you to know who to contact because they have gifts that you can use.  All contact info will be stored here.   This directory is private and will never be shared publicly.

LinkedIn Group - because all boats will rise together

We have a LinkedIn group for camp members because we believe this platform is a powerful place to make connections and find employees and share content about your company and the clients you serve.  We make introductions for each other when it makes sense.  Please know that our policy is to NOT always introduce you to people you want to meet.  This is not a networking or leads group.  We MUST believe that both you and the person we are connecting you to will benefit from the intro.   Sometimes you will have to work to prove that to a group member and that may piss you off.  Sorry.   Also - while on that topic, please know that other members may or may not hire you when they need a service like yours.  That's ok too.  No expectations.

4th Week Grow the Group calls

During the 4th week of each month there are no regular group calls and no 1:1 coaching calls.  I take this 4th week to rest and travel sometimes or to go learn and be coached.  During the 4th week we will have book club for the wider camp community and I will at times feature one of you during a live Q&A and coaching session designed to feature and spotlight you and the community.  Often I will invite a guest speaker to join us and that speaker may be the author of the book of the month.

Group Leadership and Sales Training for Members of Your Team

I love leadership training for middle managers and for your executive team members and I will regularly conduct 4-6 week mini camps for your team.  We will study books, mastermind together, and do group coaching.  I will teach your team DISC and Driving forces and emotional intelligence.

Sales process design, sales skills and training and sales management skills are favorite topics of mine and we will teach these as well.

*Please note that these classes will be at an additional fee but they will either be at a reduced price for camp members or they will be exclusive to camp member companies*

Invitation to special trips - hunting trips, treks, AirBnB home at a large conference, etc.

Throughout the year we will partner with hunting guides to offer member only trips and adventures.  When there is conference that multiple members are attending - whether or not Wayne attends or not - we will work to coordinate housing so that you can build further bonds with members of the group.  These trips will be at an additional fee but we will keep the fee reasonable to simply cover your cost plus the expenses related to making this an exclusive bbcamp experience.  These are some of my favorite events each year!  Please let me know if you are ready to do Alaskan moose hunting, African plains game safari, a trek to Everest basecamp or immersion at a silence retreat in Costa Rica.

1:1 High Performance Growth Conversation with Wayne 3x per year

As part of your camp membership I will have a wide and deep 1:1 conversation with you to clarify your 120 day plan or to talk about anything that you like.  These calls are included in your membership.  If you want to purchase additional 1:1 calls on a monthly basis that is available too or you can become a 1:1 client and we'll talk 3 x per month for 6 months or a year to really dig deep and keep you going.  These spots are limited but I love rolling up my sleeves and building with you.   2 day Immersions at the Farm and at the cabin on the Appalachian Trail are also available with priority given to camp members.

Thanks for reading this far. That's it - we're done!

If you find that this page resonates and you want to live a bigger life, then fill out our application and schedule a free call.  If our short call goes well, then we will schedule a wide and deep complimentary 2 hour call.  Our program is about the group, but I'm the coach and creator and you and I have to first and foremost be ALL IN.  I'll know if there is a high probability that the group will help and if you can help the group.

The investment to join our group is $750/month.  This includes lodging and food at live meetups.  During the "COVID time" before we resume live meetups the fee is $500/month.  My clients often come back year after year and they keep growing and keep contributing.  Some clients feel complete after one year and are happy to be an alumni and some of our members stay connected.

Our guarantee is that you get 30 days to decide if you want a full refund.  After that, you will stay in until at least the next 120-day Rendezvous.  If after that Rendezvous you want out, we will refund your remaining 8 months.

Come on - if you're our guy - let's get started! - Wayne and the Members
